Lady Gaga is closing the curtain on her MAYHEM era with a one-night-only filmed live performance created in partnership with Apple Music.
Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem premieres globally on 15 May, giving fans one final entry point into the gothic, theatrical world of the Grammy Award winning album. This time, MAYHEM is stripped down and reimagined through an intimate, one-night-only filmed live performance at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Originally built around the scale and spectacle of The MAYHEM Ball world tour, MAYHEM Requiem shifts the focus inward. Mother Monster spends much of the performance seated at a piano or synths, reconstructing tracks like “Abracadabra” and “Disease” within the ruins of the opera-house that was The MAYHEM Ball stage. The project acts as both a companion piece and a closing statement for an era built around themes of duality, death, reinvention, and performance itself.
Alongside the one-night-only filmed live performance, Gaga will also release a companion live album in Spatial Audio exclusively on Apple Music. The release arrives after a massive run for MAYHEM, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned Gaga the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. The album’s global success was further amplified by “Die With a Smile,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars, which dominated charts worldwide and helped cement MAYHEM as one of the defining pop releases of the past year.
MAYHEM Requiem will livestream globally on May 14 at 20:00 PST on Apple Music. The livestream will be open to all, including those without an Apple Music account. Thereafter, the filmed live performance and live album will be available on demand exclusively through Apple Music.
