AFROTRAX has announced the support line-up for its two upcoming South African shows with international hip-hop star French Montana this December. The festival series, presented in partnership with PLAYY. Music, will take over The Ostrich Farm in Cape Town on Friday, 4 December, before heading to The Canvas in Johannesburg on Saturday, 5 December. Both events will run from the afternoon into the evening, with French Montana headlining alongside a substantial line-up of local and international talent.
The Cape Town edition will feature Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, YoungstaCPT, 25K, US artist Jairic, Rarri, Kane DJ and Bassik, while the Johannesburg show adds Kabza De Small, Blxckie, Lucasraps, K.Keed and Teddy Tumi to the bill alongside Cassper Nyovest, Jairic and Rarri. French Montana will bring a catalogue spanning hits including “Unforgettable”, “No Stylist”, “Pop That” and “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’”, as well as collaborations with Drake, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Cardi B, Swae Lee and Chris Brown.
AFROTRAX positions the events as more than headline concerts, with both editions set to combine live music with DJs, food vendors, lifestyle activations, premium hospitality and immersive production. The Cape Town event will take place at The Ostrich Farm as an outdoor summer experience, while the Johannesburg edition at The Canvas will offer a high-energy urban festival setting. Tickets are available through PLAYY., with general admission prices starting at R350 and additional ticket tiers reaching R650.
