Today sees the release of the latest music video by Shorstraw for their single, ‘Heaps Keen’ and is the first single from their brand new album, “Youthless”, set for release in January 2015.
“’Heaps Keen’ is all about refusing to grow up – staying up all night partying, while everyone around you is growing up and going to work – it’s a song of acceptance that we’ll never grow up.”
The band chose this song as the first single from the new album, seeing as it sets the mood for the rest of the album perfectly – a cheeky tale that prepares you for “Youthless”. It’s also a great little taster into the new sounds the band is exploring on the upcoming album, their third full length studio album.
The tour footage featured in the video was shot by the band themselves while on tour in Australia, and the live footage was shot at SoundsWild and Synergy by Chris Preyser, Henry Stock and Dave East.
