This Valentines weekend folk singer and songwriter Passenger will be performing at beautiful outdoor venues around the country, including Durban Botanic Gardens, Zoo Lake in Johannesburg and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Concertgoers can bring blankets and picnic baskets to all three of these venues and celebrate the most romantic weekend of the year while relaxing and listening to acoustic ballads from the famous UK folk singer.
After years of busking and singing in pubs, Passenger’s hit track “Let Her Go” became one of only four million-selling singles in the UK and he was nominated for a Brit Award. He now plays sold-out shows all over the world and is coming to South Africa for the first time!
The support act for Zoo Lake, Johannesburg brought to you by Jacaranda FM will be Michael Lowman, while Durban Botanic Gardens will be treated to well-known signer Ard Matthews (Just Jinjer).
A limited number of Valentines Day picnic boxes for both the Durban and Joburg shows are now available for pre-order via webtickets.co.za at R300 per box. They will be ready for collection upon arrival at the venues and include an assortment of delicious snacks, sweets and non-alcoholic beverages. (vegetarian/ halaal option also available).
