Bob Loves Dylan Presents: Bam Bam Brown Performs ‘Bite My Lip’

Bob Loves Dylan’s second Take Away Show features Capetonian guitar-wielding, rum-swigging wordsmith Bam Bam Brown (aka Kieron Brown).

Bam Bam Brown spoke candidly about the shoot saying: “I’m all for concepts like this. So much so I invited these boisterous beards into my Zen den for a morning of light shuffle and shimmy. They’re a good train to catch at the Manifest-station. I have no idea where we found the Tiger though, bit sometimes you gotta let the little beasts just lay back and do their thing.”

The “Tiger” that Bam Bam Brown is referring to is the girl in the video, the first time they’ve featured anyone else besides the artist in one of their take away shows. Director Riordan Allen went on to clarify the reason as to why: “I wanted to add a music video element to the video so I got my friend Leah Blem, who is studying down the road at film school, to feature as the girl in the video. We arrived on set, rehearsed the blocking for half an hour and finished shooting by lunch, before all Kieron’s real housemates got out of bed!”
