“Caught Up” was penned as a catharsis for R&B newcomer Thapelo to navigate the end of a relationship in removing himself from what became a toxic partnership. Gino Lee came on board to lend some polished vocals to the mix and the result is an infectious R&B pop anthem hinged on taking ownership of your life back into your own hands.
Through a light-washed lens, the accompanying video plays like a timelapse montage as the lovestruck relationship between two men gradually unravels into constant arguments and stony silence.
