Barack Obama Raps Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” verse at Kamala Harris’ Detroit Rally

In a remarkable moment during Kamala Harris’ rally in Detroit, former President Barack Obama joined Eminem on stage, rapping along to the opening verse of the rapper’s iconic track “Lose Yourself.” 

The event showcased a powerful collaboration as Eminem publicly endorsed Harris for her presidential campaign. Eminem, a proud Detroit native, energised the crowd as he entered the stage to his hit song “Not Afraid.” 

“The city of Detroit and the whole state of Michigan mean a lot to me… I’m encouraging everybody to get out and vote, please,” Eminem emphasised. 

The rapper also highlighted the need for freedom of expression, stating that Vice President Harris champions a future where citizens can voice their opinions without fear of retribution.

After his endorsement, Eminem introduced Obama, who received a warm welcome from the audience. 

The former president, excited to be on stage with the rap legend, expressed his admiration for Eminem, saying he hoped the rapper would perform. He then rapped the first verse of “Lose Yourself,” much to the delight of the crowd.
