Booshle G releases picturesque video for hit single “Take Me Home”

The rise of indie-folk singer-songwriter, Booshle G, has been monumentally swift.

The release of his third single “Take Me Home” (with Zubin & Paul Timitch) in 2024, saw the Uitenhage native’s star rise as the anthemic single was used as the official song of SA’s Premier T20 Cricket League in 2025, after amassing over 4 million streams across platforms.

The music video for “Take Me Home” is equally as cutesy as the lyrics, following Booshle around Cape Town while showcasing the beauty of a summertime Mother City. As a native Capetonian, if I had to watch this while I was away from home, I’d book a flight back ASAP. The shots work in total synergy with the lyrics, making this a proudly South African anthem that I predict will evolve to become a beloved track in the canon of a country’s musical history.

After recently becoming the first South African artist to sign with Nettwerk, a globally respected label that represents Passenger, Angus & Julia Stone and more, the only way for this guy is up.
