BLOND:ISH Set To Debut ABRACADABRA Party Series In South Africa This January

The globally celebrated DJ-producer BLOND:ISH is bringing her signature ABRACADABRA show to South Africa for the very first time. The two special gigs are scheduled for 30 January 2026 at Old Park Station in Johannesburg, and on 31 January 2026 at The Ostrich Farm in Cape Town.

BLOND:ISH is a powerhouse in the global house/techno scene, known not just for her DJ sets but for nurturing community through music, sustainability, and inclusion. Originally from Canada, she’s forged decades of influence via her record label & brand ABRACADABRA, creating immersive party spaces across cities like Ibiza, Los Angeles, and London. Her sound draws from house beats, techno flavour, world rhythms—and she consistently couples her music with activism, most notably through her “Bye Bye Plastic” initiative, which works to rid live events of single-use plastics.

The ABRACADABRA experience is built around wellness, sustainability, and intentional community, inviting those both versed in dance culture and those simply curious about it. With beach pop-ups, rooftop takeovers, and sunrise sessions among its repertoire, ABRACADABRA aims to be a space where “if you let the right words shine, incredible things start to happen.” South Africa will be the next stop on that journey and an opportunity for local ravers to plug into something on a global scale.

Pre-sale registration is open now via abracadabra.howler.co.za, with general tickets going on sale Tuesday, 30 September at 10h00 SAST.
