It’s been a long, tiring week of protests for students on multiple campuses around South Africa. But as the weather gets warmer and the days wear on, their resilience does not. And so as students prepare to march on the Union Buildings today, we thought we’d take the liberty of putting together a few of the most poignant photos to come out of this movement.

The Revolution is here. “Sons and daughters of the fire” is kind of what we all felt last night, being there together, occupying the streets. It was like a force of old liberated us to the point where we could feel each other’s strength.
