They should’ve won Best Group. Or at the very least Best Live.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing them perform live, you’ll know EXACTLY what I’m talking about here.
They usually kill it as festivals (although their CT RAMfest performance wasn’t really all that on point) and they’ve been gigging effortlessly for years now. WTF is the recognition?? Those 2 SAMA Award Nominations are just the beginning as far as I’m concerned.
Additionally, George has come into his own as one of the best frontmen in the country. Have you ever heard a Taxi acoustic set? Sweet jesus. Speaking of which…
Taxi are poised to release their new single and video for ‘Unholy’ later this month. According to the group there are two versions – the naughty one and the very naughty one. I say bring on the very naughty one. “Tanit Phoenix is in it. She’s the Unholy part.” Of course she is.
Shot and directed by Sport’s Illustrated photographer Jason Fialkov from Eggs Films, I rate the high standard of music videos Taxi have been churning out of late will only be furthered be this one.
Take a look at boom.fm’s behind the scenes video of “the making of” below. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
I told you.
