Jim Beam is bringing us together. The merging of artists, venues, and music lovers. The feeling of being a part of the SA music scene with the launch of their Jim Beam Welcome Sessions. The Welcome Sessions are all about creating connections between amazing acts, some you wouldn’t ordinarily expect to feature together.
PHFAT and Dangerfields would not normally go together on a line-up, which is exactly why this show is going to be so hot – we’re making history and memories simultaneously.
PHFAT saw radio success with hits like “Lights Out” and “The Whip”, but it’s his darker and less radio-friendly singles that stitch together his carefully constructed live shows with an inimitable, primal energy that keeps fans coming back.
Dangerfields are a post-punk band who have a reputation for putting on live performances that take their listeners on a journey that is at times up-beat and noisy and at other times slow and introspective, but always atmospheric and evocative.
These two acts are bound to bring it, so miss it and miss out big time.
