The Kulture’s new video for “Fully Loaded” gives us a tantalizing glimpse into his upcoming album

The Kulture is a community-driven artist based in the Western Cape who reps the Mother City on his chest. To add to that, the rapper is also the CEO of KWAAI (Keep Winning And Always Inspire) Pty Ltd: a media company dedicated to promoting independent creatives.

Ahead of his upcoming project Dark City, the rapper has dropped a self-directed music video for the second single, “Fully Loaded” – which has him cruising the hood as he executes fiery bars over flawless 808-heavy production by AJ Beatz (who mixed and mastered the track too).

With supreme confidence, The Kulture spits about life in an underprivileged area and the need to hustle as he hopes to leave the younger kids with some of his own wisdom. The energy is high and the delivery is smooth.

Slick one liners, “Fully loaded like I’m Herbie/ Making calls like I’m Herb Dean”, pop up between the more reflective side of things – “Little kids and they’re playing with guns/ Ask the State where we got them from.”

The Kulture strikes a perfect balance between playful raps and conscious contemplation, and I look forward to what he has coming next.
