The Revival Co further established themselves as a holistic entertainment company at their second event Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride.
Hosted at Cape Town’s SurfaRosa and District, the follow-up to The Revival Co’s hugely successful launch was a multi-sensory affair with an art and photography exhibition, featuring work from the brilliant creative minds of Lauren Thomas and Joshua Stein, film screenings from the city’s ever-active industry and, of course, some sumptuous music.

As the gathering grew from a smattering to a just-about full house, a line-up that ranged from hard-rockers The Karriers, to smooth-jazz maestros Hartleyvale, and the ever-impressive The Loose Ends, took the party to a mosh-pit fuelled fever-pitch.

Rounding off the evening’s impressive array of sonic display were DJ Invizable and Phil Kramer and I’d go so far as to say that the former might have stolen the show with his Afro-futuristic outfit, irresistible onstage charm, and captivating presence that kept the party going long after the bands had finished.

The Revival Co are on a mission to blast life back into a scene left crippled by COVID-19 and, with two cracking shows under their belt, there’s every chance they could make that happen.
