South African alt-rock powerhouse Indie Dog is back with a brand-new single called “Muffin Top” and, once again, they’re delivering a raw, electrifying dose of grunge energy.
Fuelled by a driving guitar riff that pulses throughout the track, “Muffin Top” is an instant adrenaline rush, recorded at KVD Studios, and mixed and mastered by Clint Watts.
“This song is pure, unfiltered Indie Dog,” says frontman Seb Howarth. “We wanted to create something that hits hard, sticks in your head and makes you move. That riff just took on a life of its own, and we built the whole song around it.”
With their signature blend of gritty vocals, punchy drums and infectious melodies, the Jozi four-piece continues to carve out their own space in the modern rock scene. “Muffin Top” captures the band’s relentless energy, and their unshakable passion for making music.
