Fresh off the epic offering that was “The Funeral”, Yungblud has released a new single called “Memories” featuring WILLOW and it’s accompanied by an emotive music video.
“This song is about letting go of past traumas you may have experienced and voicing them to the world,” Yungblud said about the track. “There’s something freeing about turning painful memories from your past into lessons for your future – I want people to scream this song out and it be cathartic. It’s about coming together and shedding pain, turning it into positive energy and sharing the burden with each other.”
The contribution of WILLOW (who’s also gone through her own transformation lately) is a welcome one, as the two complement each other perfectly – both musically and in their emotionally-heavy performance in the Colin Tilley-directed music video.
