WRITER’S PICKS #021: WHAT WE’RE LISTENING TO THIS MONTH

It’s the last day of November and we couldn’t be more ready for Dezemba. So, to roll in the good times, we’ve got a summer ready playlist that’s packed with the ultimate holiday vibes.

First off is Will Linley with his single “Magic” taken from his new EP of the same name – a wholesome earworm if there ever was one.

Second is Mila Smith with “Hide In Hell”. Taken from her latest EP You Need Therapy, it’s a sultry indie-jazz single with tinges of R&B, and testament to her impressive sonic versatility for such a young artist.

Next, our fav sad ballad songwriter, Julian Place, whose new single “Nights Like These” is a compelling, heart-wrencher of a track. Not to mention his gentle rasp, paired with those rich, rich melodies.

Other highlights include The World of Birds, Beatenberg, Painted Flowers and The Plastics, plus the brooding new single by burningforestboy, titled “SUPERVILLAIN”.

Drives along the coast, camp fires, beer pong, late night house parties. This playlist has you covered 😉
