By now you all know that The Kooks are coming to SA this month for two shows in Jozi and Cape Town on the 19th and 20th of April, respectively.
Now it’s the same deal ticket-wise as the previous #5GumExperience events – tickets are not available for purchase.

So it’s no small secret that 5 Gum SA have a genius marketing team but when this little black box (pictured above) arrived at my doorstep I had a proper WTF moment.
This is probably the most awesome press package I’ve ever received – right up there with the Paige Mac nostalgia lunch box – and includes the world’s smallest record player. Yes, that’s a cherry red VW bus. And it drives round and round and round that record which, incidentally, happens to spin the sweet sounds of The Kooks.
