KuduKudu Presents showcases local talent making waves in the music industry with an event that aims to showcase a diverse range of artists with growing international profile.
This time around they welcome Amy Ayanda, who debuted her new band in 2015 that consists of producers Dean Berger and Daniel Breiter (Birthday Girl). The band’s line-up has remained consistent and is a mix of organic and electronic sounds combined with Ayanda’s vocals.
She is joined by Elle E, a favourite of TATC’s, whose front woman Ellenie Eloff has journeyed through lo-fi electronica, DIY experimentalism and fiery garage rock to craft a well-rounded rock-driven set.
Her latest work as Elle E is the culmination of all her influences – an evocative soundscape that combines dreamy analog synth textures, layers of guitar – and the potent voice of a born performer.
