I met Dylan Jones, the lead singer of Red Huxley, almost exactly 2 years ago at Oppikoppi.
I was at the top bar and I’d probably had quite a bit to drink because I vaguely remember trying to burn my split ends off with the Red Huxley-branded lighter that he’d just given me.
“Don’t forget we’re playing tomorrow on the Main Stage,” he told me. I did forget, but I remembered when I reached for that lighter to fuel my nicotine rage.
Fast forward 2 years and they’re chilling on Dave Catching’s Ranco de la Luna in California.
Jealous? I know I am. I’ve also been following their campaign from the get-go so it’s awesome to get a sneak peek into the goings on as they happen. Kim Hinrichs from Motion City Films and Dan Nash from Bangers And Nash have both gone along for the ride to document this epic escapade the RH boys are on.
