Raise The Bar Programme launches free Music Guides as educational resources

Bae Electronica and With Love The Agency are pleased to announce the release of a resource collection created by interns from their mentorship and internship program, Raise The Bar.

Launched in 2022, the programme aimed to develop the skills, networks, and confidence of participating women through hands-on experience and guidance from industry professionals.

Taking inspiration from Jackie Queen’s , the resources give insight into the roles of artist management, booking agent, and music marketing, and showcase the knowledge that interns have gained during their internships.

Marketing intern Nosipho Mhlongo’s guide offers tips for building a successful music rollout, complete with a case study on Tyler The Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost. Booking agent intern Zandile’s guide covers the essentials of booking agent work and how to find the right agent for you. And junior artist manager intern Thando Nkhoma guide offers valuable advice on starting a career in artist management and working with artists.

“We are proud of the progress and achievements of our RTB interns, and we hope that sharing their insights with a wider music community will help inspire others to keep learning about the industry,” says Bae Electronica founder Jackie Queens.
